Pros

Free snacks, fruit and nicely stocked kitchen and many free lunches Modern workplace Remote/telework Welcoming and friendly coworkers Competitive pay

Cons

Horrible benefits. No 401k match. 6 holidays a year (what??) PTO minimal and not enough. Mostly "Millennials" work there and they are so needy and whiny. IT/Computer infrastructure is disorganized and a mess. Super slow and needs upgrading.

Team Velocity Response

Dear Former Employee, Thank you for taking the time to write a review! At Team Velocity Marketing, our employees are our lifeblood; ensuring their happiness is what makes us happy. We strive to show our employees how much we value them by offering loads of benefits from a competitive salary to healthcare coverage and gym memberships, to fun social events and ample PTO to enjoy a breather from the busy agency life. With that being said, we are constantly striving to be better. One of our company’s core values is to achieve more together, therefore, we have always encouraged our team to share their ideas with our leaders so we can implement positive changes and keep our employees happy. We took to heart what our employees had to say, and kicked off 2016 by launching a new company-wide matching 401(k) program (YAY!!). We’re sorry you left before you had the opportunity to watch us act on your feedback, but we thank you for being one of the many voices who made this change possible. At Team Velocity, we are a collection of passionate, talented and diverse individuals who have come together as one. Our vision was to build an environment that fosters creativity, promotes diversity and encourages new ideas. As we grow our team, we take the time to select individuals who can bring a unique perspective to our company and enhance our culture. Whether you are a recent college grad or have been in the industry for 20 years, we value those who share this vision. One of the benefits of being a smaller company is that employee voices can be heard, something that makes us unique in the industry. We understand that our open environment isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. Maybe a larger, more formal office setting suits you better. In any event, we thank you for the time you spent with us and wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of working with Team Velocity Marketing is the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. The company gives you exposure to automotive marketing, SEO, client strategy, technology, and team collaboration in a way that keeps the work interesting and rarely repetitive. There are always new challenges to solve, which can help you build stronger skills, take on more responsibility, and learn from experienced people across different departments. The team environment is also a major plus, with supportive coworkers who care about doing good work and helping clients succeed.

Cons

One potential con of working with Team Velocity Marketing is that the fast-paced environment can sometimes feel demanding, especially when priorities shift quickly or multiple deadlines overlap. Because the company operates in a competitive and constantly changing industry, there can be a lot to keep up with, from client needs to platform updates and internal processes. At times, the workload may feel heavy, and communication across teams can vary depending on the project or situation. That said, these challenges also come with the territory of working in a growing, high-energy marketing company, and they can be manageable for people who are adaptable, organized, and comfortable with change.

Pros

The culture at Team Velocity is genuinely outstanding. Management is engaged and accessible, which makes a real difference day-to-day. As a creative, you're given the freedom to do your best work while also being challenged in meaningful ways — navigating ever-evolving manufacturing compliance requirements keeps the work fresh and pushes you to grow as a designer.

Cons

The constantly shifting compliance standards can be demanding to keep up with, but it's more of an occupational challenge than a company failing.
