Pros
- Many of the team members I worked with are genuinely nice, caring people who are trying to do their best work. - The PTO option was great. - The fully remote option was a lifesaver. - Many people are more than willing to help you learn and grow skills in areas you may not be familiar with.
Cons
- There have been at least three massive rounds of layoffs in the last 18-months. - The pay could be better, particularly for mid-career professionals with experience under their belts. - The company's target market is completely wrong for the industry they're in. They are seeking customers who can almost certainly afford to hire internal teams to do what Terakeet does, probably for cheaper. - There is a lot of false positivity, gaslighting, and something of a cult-like atmosphere. No one is allowed to have concerns. That being said, if you can see through the masks, there are a lot of genuinely nice people who are sincerely great to work with. - There is not a lot of upward growth opportunity.
