Pros

It is a very large company that has many benefits it can offer. People there are very friendly and eager to help out and meet with you if you are eager to learn and better yourself. Overall it is fun and the people are very relaxed and not overworked, but still get a large amount of work done and seem happy to be doing it. I liked the the office promootes healthy living and eating to allow the employees to have a strong work versus life balance both at home and in the workplace. I would work at CIGNA again.

Cons

CIGNA is in a suburb. Anyone who is a young professional may not enjoy the very suburban atmosphere of the CIGNA office in bloomfield, ct. Additionally, there is alot of traffic on the small road leading to the office which causes much frustration with over three thousand employees trying to get to work in the morning. The cafeteria was slightly overpriced in my eyes but the food was good nonetheless. People at CIGNA seem to enjoy what they are doing and can sometimes get caught up with corporate culture and say nothing words like touchpoint and brief meeting. That can be annoying at CIGNA

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
