Pros

Super close knit group - friends who look out for each other vibe for the most part between the recruiters and account managers, so there was that support. Love the people

Cons

However, management puts so much pressure on leadership, implementing changes without truly hearing the voices of the production teams or knowing where the issues were coming from. There unfortunately is a lot of favortism and lack of diversity that plays a big role..not even sure there was much honesty going on at the end there. The executive recruiting team no longer functioned as a true executive search group as it once did. They are now just an extension of the contract recruiting team who mainly recruits on direct hire at any level now. It's hard to have a true voice there or grow in your career, and the expectations were high for having no support. The executive recruiting team hasn't had a manager leading that team in years who truly understood direct hire at the high level and focused only on that team. You can do well there, but they make it very hard for you unfortunately. It has become a group of mainly inexperienced, straight out of college workers. The 1 on 1's were also unhelpful (I'm usually a big fan of weekly 1 on 1's) - felt like they didn't know how to people manage and advocate for their teams.

Pros

I had a truly positive onboarding experience with The Intersect Group and can confidently say the process exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, the recruiters & operations coordinators were professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. Communication was clear, timely, and consistent, which made the entire onboarding process feel smooth and well-organized. They took the time to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure I felt prepared every step of the way. What stood out most was the level of care and professionalism shown throughout the process. Starting a new role can naturally bring some anxiety, and the team at The Intersect Group did an excellent job of easing those concerns through transparency, encouragement, and follow-through. I’m grateful for the experience and would highly recommend The Intersect Group to anyone seeking a recruiting partner that values people, communication, and professionalism.

Cons

The onboarding process moved quickly, which required prompt attention.
