Pros

- You will make good friends here - it will make your next job seem like the best job ever - it will teach you hardwork if you do not have this skill - incentive trips

Cons

- You can get a job at another agency and get a 10k+ increase in base salary and a better work life balance - management is terrible. They will say one thing and do another - there is lack of trust amongst employees, leadership and producers - you’re just a number. This company burns and turns - there is no training, coaching or direction yet you are held to high and mostly unrealistic expectations - there is no HR department - even when you are succeeding you will feel it is not enough because it’s a culture built on constant next opportunity - a lot of meetings that waste your time. For example you have a board meeting every day at 8:30 AM. It’s not necessary every day - they do not fully utilize or properly train on the tools they give you, making it hard to succeed. There’s a good chance at your next company your busy work here would be automated - not a team environment, little collaboration. You are competing against yourself - very incestuous, executive hire their “frat brothers” to lead offices and sometimes creepy vibes from execs

Pros

I had a truly positive onboarding experience with The Intersect Group and can confidently say the process exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, the recruiters & operations coordinators were professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. Communication was clear, timely, and consistent, which made the entire onboarding process feel smooth and well-organized. They took the time to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure I felt prepared every step of the way. What stood out most was the level of care and professionalism shown throughout the process. Starting a new role can naturally bring some anxiety, and the team at The Intersect Group did an excellent job of easing those concerns through transparency, encouragement, and follow-through. I’m grateful for the experience and would highly recommend The Intersect Group to anyone seeking a recruiting partner that values people, communication, and professionalism.

Cons

The onboarding process moved quickly, which required prompt attention.

Pros

A few talented recruiters and support staff who genuinely want to succeed. Opportunity to work on a variety of clients and searches. Strong earning potential if you're able to navigate the environment and see past all of the chaos.

Cons

The culture has changed significantly over time. The combination of private equity ownership and constant pressure for short-term results has created an environment where metrics often take priority over people and long-term success. Turnover is exceptionally high, making it difficult to build stable teams or maintain continuity with clients and candidates. It often feels like you're constantly onboarding new colleagues while saying goodbye to experienced performers. Micromanagement is another major challenge. Rather than empowering experienced recruiters to operate autonomously, there is an overwhelming focus on activity tracking, reporting, and oversight. For seasoned producers, this creates an environment built on control instead of trust. Leadership has also become a concern. Expectations frequently shift, communication can be inconsistent, and decisions sometimes feel reactive rather than strategic. The result is uncertainty, low morale, and limited confidence in long-term direction. Many talented recruiters leave not because of the work itself, but because of how the organization is managed. Overall, if you thrive in a highly structured, metrics-driven environment with constant oversight, this may be a fit. If you're looking for a culture built on trust, stability, leadership development, and long-term investment in employees, there are likely better options.
