Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn and grow. There are still some great managers left. There is also plenty of work to be done and our niche is probably as close to "recession proof" as you can get in tech.

Cons

It seems like we haven't had consistent leadership in a while. Between changing leadership team members and constantly shifting organizational priorities, it is a wonder we make progress on anything. The company recently began a push to RTO, despite initially being told by leadership there were no plans to force people back to the office. All employees within 50 miles of an office are required to be in-office every Tuesday. The PTO policy was recently changed to a "use it or lose it" policy. Accrual rates were also adjusted, resulting in time being taken away from some of the company's most tenured employees. Pay is below average though the benefits, flexibility, and culture generally have made up for that. Open and honest feedback to policy changes is swiftly dealt with by redirecting employees to private 1-on-1 meetings.

Thank you for taking the time to share. Specifically, the details around the Townhall and the desire for more questions and ways to engage to get feedback is something we can take back for review and discussion.

Pros

Less corporate drama then most places I have worked.

Cons

Management can be short sighted and makes changes that then need to be walked back.

Pros

I very much enjoyed my time at TrueCommerce working in the Nexternal department. I had an amazing team that worked hard and together on issues all day, every day. I really enjoyed the client's that I worked with everyday. In my area, we supported businesses big and small. It was very rewarding and I learned a lot about all different types of businesses. They had some wonderful benefits including a day off every month during the summer months, your birthday off, and PTO added up quickly. I was able to be full time remote. All in all, a great experience that upped my skills!

Cons

Unfortunately, I was let go during a company wide layoff which was disappointing, but I still have a lot of respect for the company. The health insurance options left something to be desired. Upper management didn't listen very much to the lower tier employee's even when innovative ideas were there to be shared.
