I have been working at True Commerce full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is adequate, leadership is really decent, recognition is nice, they take chances on prospects from other walks of life. Very happy working here.

    Cons

Work/life balance isn't great, but this issue is pervasive given the current culture of the American workplace.

    Advice to Management

Allow for more work/life balance. Grant more vacation time. Provide us with goals that are properly weighted instead of generalized.

I worked at True Commerce full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Starting salary, I was promised great raises and bonuses and a light workload.

    Cons

The company (RedTail Solutions) was recently bought by True Commerce. The salary was great to start, but the promises were not true. They have a lot of money to throw around to hire people, but after that they don't care. The promise of a light workload is discussed a lot, but as time goes on, you get more and more work and eventually it becomes unbearable.

If you speak to management they say, "Sorry, if we were still RedTail I could do something, but now that we are True Commerce, my hands are tied." They should probably get t-shirts printed with that line on them. There is no problem breaking promises when you can blame it all on TrueCommerce.

Old management of RedTail reports to the new management of TrueCommerce. Old management is bound by contracts to stay around, but they are sitting on fat stacks of cash from the buyout and can't wait to leave.

    Advice to Management

Dump the old RedTail managers who want to leave anyway. Make promisees that you can actually honor and hire more employees so the workload is less. Improve morale and don't just focus on the work, the employees are people too.

We haven’t had anyone from Customer Support leave the business since TrueCommerce acquired RedTail, so the comments are a little confusing. Anyways, thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, I... More

    Pros

I've only been at True Commerce for a few months now but so far, this is a great place to work! The communication between the leadership team and employees is great. Nick Manolis, the president, holds monthly town hall meetings for employees. The culture is casual and employees are rewarded for their hard work with incentives such as gift cards and a hockey night. Managers are flexible and most employees are able to work at home, especially when the weather is bad! I've already seen employees who have worked hard get promoted so there are definitely ways to advance. I enjoy coming to work every day!

    Cons

Not all positions are able to work from home.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great communication!

    Pros

Team Environment, good training, pleasant work environment, information sharing, regular team and staff meetings, you know what's expected of you, published goals and metrics, performance monitoring and coaching, clear mission statement

    Cons

deadline-driven, overtime often needed to meet target goals, difficult clients, sometimes you can't control the process (3rd party vendors set the pace at times)

    Advice to Management

keep employees well-informed at all times. Make sure to recognize contributors. Continue to provide strong leadership and direction.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The Health Insurance is decent. It's a job in a tough economy.

    Cons

HORRIBLE working environment. EVERYONE is miserable and looking for another job. Company could be great, but the CEO doesn't know how to run it. He is not open to suggestions. They are total MICRO-MANAGERS! None of the departments work well together. They all seem to blame each group. Not much training. They like to hire young people that will work long hours and not pay them much money. What is ironic, is that it is very hard to get into the company. The CEO won't "approve" many interview candidates.

    Advice to Management

Get at new CEO! One that has a true "vision" to run the company before it plummets anymore.
