Pros

UBS definitely has a large scale, global presence...you get to regularly work with people from London, Singapore, and Zurich. It's easy to move internally, and there are several opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

Long hours are very common (working from 7AM-1AM every day-high burnout rate where entire teams turnover 100% at least 2-3 times a year). In addition, the politics are extreme, petty behavior rampant, and management is unfair...there is a "what's in it for me" attitude rather than what's best for the company. Anytime there is a problem, there is a tendency to blameshift or to roll out a new system...the IT department is massive, but no one seems to know how all the systems work and fit together.

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
