Pros

Ability to work with the people from across the globe. Ability to learn finance and investment banking business. Stable work - once you're in it's very hard to get fired. The deadlines vary depending on the project but on average are realistic and reasonable. Remuneration generally above the market average. Easy way to stand out among others. Ability to work with the new technologies and learn from the good specialists, although it heavily depends on the project/area. Good benefits and learning opportunities, like Coursera, O'Reilly, Safari.

Cons

Little-to-no career growth opportunities unless you're willing to wait for a 5-6 years, generally you shouldn't expect any promotion or significant salary raise regardless of the performance or the responsibilities. Annual performance reviews aren't completely fair, hearing from your superior something like "I wanted to give you higher rating but my boss told me to give you this" is quite common. A lot of bureaucracy, which heavily distracts from the main responsibilities and complicates the processes. Conservative environment and strong opposition to the changes, unless pushed by the senior management. Day-to-day work only on the virtual machines, which are slow, buggy, unreliable and inconvenient.

Pros

I learned a lot while interning here. The staff took time to get to know me. They each introduced me to different aspects of the business and their specific role,s which gave me great exposure to the business. They were flexible on hours and understanding when I had a family emergency in a way other employers have not been or did not need to.

Cons

Not a low-effort position, and could get overwhelming if you were not prepared.

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
