Pros
They are pretty easygoing when it comes to taking days off or having to leave early when you have things to do at night or during the day. The pressure isn't that bad and the hours that you have to work aren't very long. Usually I work about 8 to 9 hours and rarely on weekends. Besides that though, the group I am in is terrible and no one knows what they are doing. There isn't any organization and communication is pretty bad too. I've heard the same from many other people who work in other departments, it's just not good.
Cons
Like I said, communication is pretty bad, and no one knows what they are doing. Testing when it comes to releasing new versions is awful, and business users just have no idea what they are testing. We will ask them about a certain specific and they won't know what we mean. Nothing is written down and everyone blames everyone else and just tries to push the work on other people. I don't really know what else to say except more organization needs to be emphasized. Re-orgs are common too and I have had four different managers in the past two years.
