      Pros

      The senior leadership is strong. Three founders seem like genuinely good people. Company genuinely tries to develop a team culture. Overall there are good people in this company.

      Cons

      I work at an office where the managing partner is a loonatic. Because of the decentralized model with Vaco, if you work for someone that is emotionally unstable and stubborn, it can be tough despite the fact this is a good company. No retirement benefits.

      Not using Vaco, any other company will not offer the same high quality experience.

      Pros

      GREAT work environment at Virginia State Police. Pay is good. Better than most contract employers for benefits. Supposed to get a bonus of a week's pay after 1 year and some paid holidays at that point. Best thing is getting to work on projects in AWS.

      Cons

      Requires 4 days a week on-site. No OT allowed. No pay for holidays, sick days or vacation. VITA requiring me to get a PMP, even though I was told I did not need one for the role.
