      Pros

      Coworkers are the best people I’ve ever worked with

      Cons

      Vaco steals a huge chunk of your salary from the company you actually work for and with. They don’t let you put that you work for that company (Google), only theirs which isn’t even true. They break the laws when it comes to use it or lose it PTO policy which is not legal in California and don’t pay us up to market in the Bay Area. What a horrible company.

      Best recruiting company in the game! They make me feel valued and appreciated. They work tirelessly to get you the best placement possible.

      Cons

      Not using Vaco, any other company will not offer the same high quality experience.

      Pros

      GREAT work environment at Virginia State Police. Pay is good. Better than most contract employers for benefits. Supposed to get a bonus of a week's pay after 1 year and some paid holidays at that point. Best thing is getting to work on projects in AWS.

      Cons

      Requires 4 days a week on-site. No OT allowed. No pay for holidays, sick days or vacation. VITA requiring me to get a PMP, even though I was told I did not need one for the role.
