      Pros

      The placement was great - was placed at Google and met a lot of people. I was able to network and also use Google on my resume, which was a huge plus.

      Cons

      Vaco paid minimum wage at the time and also did not pay overtime when I went over 8 hours of the day. I also did overnights and was not compensated fairly. This prompted a lawsuit to occur and the employee who sued Vaco won. I hope they changed their ways by now.

      Pros

      Jeff Kim was persistent and genuine. Kept me in mind across multiple searches until the right role landed. No pressure, no ghosting, just consistent follow-through.

      Cons

      Staffing agencies inherently have limited control over placement timelines. Sometimes the wait between contacts is longer than you'd like.

      Pros

      Vaco placed me in an IT Governance/Architecture contract role at $xxx/hour and was hands-on throughout the entire process.
