Pros
If you're new to recruitment, you'll receive excellent training. The sessions at Venn Group will help you build the essential skills needed to become a successful recruiter.
Cons
This isn't the place to be if you're looking to make significant money or become a top biller. No one at the firm bills over £1,000,000 annually, and the real high performers aren't at Venn Group. They mainly hire graduates to hit call targets, with a strong focus on KPIs rather than actual results in terms of placements or sales. The focus is more on activity than outcomes. Operating on a "Team Basis" makes it hard to stand out individually, and their team-based commission structure isn't very rewarding. What they won’t tell you during the interview is that you won't be eligible for commission until after passing probation. They also expect you to be in the office five days a week, and if you request to work from home, they may make you feel guilty, as though you're underperforming. If your goal is to make serious money, this isn’t the right place. The high turnover rate reflects this, as many people leave to join firms where they can work individually and earn more through a proper commission structure.
