Pros

- Great benefits: You get to travel business class. - Good work life balance: The kind of job you go for when you want to have a life outside.

Cons

- No vision. The company is stuck at just trying to keep up with its competitors. The technology hasn't keep up with times, for example, Veracode static scans take 2-5 hours to finish. This is unacceptable in a CI environment. The product roadmap is just playing a catch up game with its competition. - Not agile. Claims to be agile but releases only happen once a month and most releases are big bang releases. Releases are a train wreck waiting to happen. Can't deliver features fast. - Too big and hierarchical for a software company. There are close to 15 people working on a small web service, and most of the testing is still manual.

Pros

Good leadership and career growth. Excellent health insurance and benefits.

Cons

Nothing substantial. Only pains felt while working there were universally felt (Global Pandemic, Impact of AI) and each time Veracode put both employees and customers at the center of their decision making.

Pros

There are some nice, hard working, genuine people here that care about their work, customers, and the product they produce.

Cons

Toxic culture. CEO talks about everyone including those he keeps close to him. Everyone knows this goes on and it spreads like wildfire. The company has a product issue but he wont admit it because he was the one running Product before becoming the CEO. Any issue with the product is one he created. Instead of fixing the problem he would rather call everyone stupid and lazy. Look at his executive team. NOBODY lasts! At what point does the board recognize the common denominator.
