Pros

It's a family here. We all help each other out. The CEO CARES. He wants feedback, just as your managers do. At a good pace, people are advancing in their roles/departments. It's definitely a stable position and stable company.

Cons

Honestly, None! I absolutely wonderful here,

Pros

I have been working at Viewpost for a short time now, however, it has felt like forever due to the incredible culture that has been created here. You are encouraged to grow, learn, ask questions, and have a work life balance.

Cons

There is really nothing to share on the cons. If I had to pick something; most of the employees here have been with Viewpost for a very long time so learning how to bring yourself into that is interesting. HOWEVER, no one ever makes you feel like you don't belong!

Pros

Viewpost is a startup at heart. When you walk into the work environment, you experience a constant energy on the floor - developers, business analysts, UX, deployment and QA folks all working together to get great features out the door. The people at Viewpost are legitimately low ego, transparent, friendly and passionate about what they do. It is a product-first, team-first mentality, where folks will rally around anyone to help them get the job done. The technical teams are talented and developers "geek out" over growing in the craft of software development - as a developer, you grow a ton just by being on the floor and learning from those around you. The product and business vision is stellar. They stock a kitchen with food and drinks to keep folks energized.

Cons

Viewpost is constant energy, and as such, it is a high distraction environment. You definitely need to be able to plugin and focus. You don't want to work for Viewpost if you are looking to work a 9 to 5 job - people are passionate about the product and company, and it is a shared expectation that we will do what it takes to succeed. For a startup, the hours are pretty reasonable and there is a focus on maintaining work-life balance, but there are definitely crunch times when capability needs to get out the door. There is a well-developed security and compliance presence, and it is a continual challenge to balance being secure with delivering the product quickly.
