Pros
Locally in Kansas City, MO... the management staff takes great interest in every employee's success at the facility even though their hands are very often bound by corporate strings. Through the ups and downs of my tenure, overall, I loved my time at WABTEC and miss working there.
Cons
As in ALL global companies... the employment well being of the lowly employee becomes lost when the industry turns and the bottom line for corporate investors/stock holders drives the retention and/or release of non-value added staff. Just because you have committed yourself to WABTEC unfortunately does not translate to corporate reciprocating your commitment.
