Pros

Full-time position has health insurance and other benefits.

Cons

Financial Aid Officer is the lowest pay in the entire department. The FAO's have the highest turnover rate of any job I have ever seen due to low morale & unmanageable work load. Unreasonable expectations set by management with absolutely no training given and even less support! One-stop welcome center concept is a joke. By the time students get back to see a FAO, they are very frustrated and have been back several times & told to "allow for processing time." The job of FAO is a contracted one, with management deciding whether to renew your contract or not, with a maximum of 5 years. Worst place to work, ever. Run while you can!
