Pros
• Great location • Office is spacious, sunny, and colorful • Games and pool table at office • Lots of food in break room • Friendly staff • Lack of micromanagement
Cons
•Salespeople sell a lot of vaporware including features the company has no idea how to deliver •Salespeople overpromise and make up ROI numbers that they know aren’t true •Production underdelivers – websites take 3-4 times longer to launch than promised – most customers are very dissatisfied waiting almost a year for their site to go live •Very few happy customers – production, support and sales are inundated by customer complaints •WDS is not profitable; they are dealing with a large debt incurred by years of poor decisions that makes any type of forward thinking investment in people or technology impossible •WDS fires employees frequently; morale is horrible – most employees are underpaid and underappreciated and trying to find a way out •Company goes on hiring sprees and then firing sprees •Leadership is delusional •CEO is a poor leader, planner, and decision maker •Employees are blamed for the mistakes of management •WDS’s eCommerce platform is severely outdated and very buggy •Platform lacks features and capabilities of most competitors, including platforms that are being sold at a fraction of the cost •WDS sites are slow •Most customers have very low conversion rates on their sites •Designs are weak and look like templates – Magento and Worpress templates are much more attractive with a better UX. Take a look at the portfolio and see for yourself Strongly recommend you be careful in doing business with WDS
