Pros

Last 2 years, there have been no pros. Only one maybe - fully WFH Prior to that it was a really great place to work at. Oh and surprisingly HR was nice - smooth on and off boarding. I don't think they really care about the exit interview but still a smooth process. I'll give them 10/10 for that.

Cons

1. No clarity, No vision. I mean the company does have a vision to "Feed the world" but it's only on paper. 2. Build products which aren't really useful 3. Wayyyy tooo much micro management. like a lot. lot lot 4. Updating jira tickets >>>>>>> Actually delivering work 5. Constant org restructuring 6. Meeting meeting meeting, aluha meeting 7. Features are built to be scrapped 8. What promotions? 9. What Salary hike? is that even a thing? 10. They value contractors more than FTEs. 11. Required to attend late night releases 12. Agile team and scrum masters have been given a lot of authority. I think they confused what their role is. I'll put in the definition of a scum master here, hope one of them reads it and stops annoying the team; "A scrum master is a coach and a guide who ensures their team understands the scrum framework and its values and practices" 13. No career path. PS. I know all i have listed are cons but that is what the company has become. Talking about the past isn't going to help anyone.

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits, decent work/life balance (depends on your role), established and well regarded products.

Cons

They hire excellent people on the ground, but DEI hires in C-suite managmeent are bad. Toxic, narcissistic "leaders" are promoted based on gender instead of aptitude, and cancerous individuals are slow to be removed because of the emphasis on DEI. Yara used to be and could be a great place to work again, but they need to get rid of the problem people to get there.
