      Pros

      Colleagues are excellent, but management is woeful.

      Cons

      They deducted 20,000 AED (over 4000 GBP) from my final payment in complete violation of what was written in the contract. I've tried to contact the HR Director, Dean, and the Provost about the issue, but all have completely ignored my emails.

      Pros

      ZU is an exceptional institution of higher education. I’m proud to say that I have contributed to its reputation as one of the best universities in the Middle East by establishing new programs, hiring exceptional faculty and stuff, and terminating some bad apples who don’t belong there (or anywhere else, for that matter)
