Pros

Few pros seem fine in beginning but do not outweigh cons, esp over time. Hybrid but tracks swipes into the office, would not be surprised if they revert back to fully in office. Good discount on expensive products.

Cons

Hard work and committed employees are not rewarded. Responsibilities grow but title and salary do not, even with proven record of accomplishment. High turnover due to lack of support and development from management. Those that leave are not replaced. Employees are visibly unhappy, leading to an uncomfortable office environment. Major system transition left many grey areas of responsibility that do not have clear processes in place. Large pay discrepancies between employees with same title. Work is not delegated evenly between team members. Unprofessional behavior is ignored. Do not recommend any role in SCM or operations here. This is not just a supply planning role, you will be expected to perform many, many different jobs that are not within the scope of one Supply Planner. Salary/bonus is lower than the market avg for this area. Simply not worth it, esp for younger/recent grads as there is zero career development or growth opportunities.

Pros

I worked closely with some very nice and supportive people, despite one incredibly unprofessional and rude person who never faced consequences for her behavior.

Cons

This was the most unnecessarily stressful role. From day 1 there is minimal training. You are thrown into a fire that literally never stops, leading to quick burnout. The team is a revolving door of talent- it's a shame Zwilling cannot retain anyone. This company is 300 years old and operates as if it's still the 1700s. Excel is used to manage inventory. Departments work in silos, and communication processes between them is nonexistent. The supply team constantly takes on more & more work and is only rewarded with more work & no title/pay changes. In general, if you go to upper mgmt. with issues (and come to the table with solutions), you are met with "nothing here will ever change." It completely stifles morale & the motivation to innovate outdated processes. Upper mgmt. makes decisions without any regard to how it'll impact the employees. They see opportunities to make $$$ and immediately say yes, without considering the constrained resources/people already drowning. I'm sure many depts would agree with that statement. There's also next to no career advancement opportunities, next to no PTO, and salaries aren't great.
