Pros

I am truly my own boss. EXP provides the support and oversight that I need but no one tries to make me do things someone else's way. Most brokers have a lot of strength and personality to get the job done, and too much micromanagement creates unnecessary stress. At EXP, if you know what you're doing, and you just follow the procedures necessary to make sure you get paid, you're free to just go for it. It's weightless. You don't get bogged down in pointless meetings, too many emails, etc. If you want to use the software, it's amazing, powerful, and has top-notch support. But, if you just want to get your deal done, the technology doesn't get in the way. I love my freedom. I feel really empowered and limitless in what I can accomplish with the resources that EXP makes available to me. Finally, and I can't emphasize this enough, my split is 80%. My split is 80%. It's the best split in the business. You can't find a single firm that can even come close to that. Coupled with total freedom and complete control over my own schedule. I'm super grateful.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that I have to pay for Costar separately.

Great company to work for. Remote work environment. Great commission split, low fees.

Cons

Nothing really, I had a great experience. If fully remote is not for you, I don’t recommend eXp.

Pros

The revenue share is great and makes it worthwhile

Cons

all calls to support are outsourced and are seldom able to be solved over the phone late response to emails in a business where time is money need to sign on to their virtual cloud world if you need some help in the field which can be inconvenient when you are actively showing houses has lost all sense of a small brokerage feel, especially when you need help or help navigating a transaction.
