      I worked at Enzyme full-time

      Pros

Great work environment that is welcoming, friendly and helpful co-workers who are there to help any time they can.

      Cons

Too many changes to Leads -- which led to a lack of communication. There were also many changes of tester placement (i.e. different projects, desk placement) while testing was taking place, so it interrupted with work very often.

      Advice to Management

Reduce the amount of changes to leads and placement settings. If you have to make changes, that's fine, but making too many changes within a short period of time can interrupt work and slow down progress.

      I worked at Enzyme part-time

      Pros

It is a good company with a great atmosphere at work.

      Cons

Some of the managers don't come from a linguistic background and sometimes they don't understand some of the characteristics of the languages.

I have been working at Enzyme full-time

      Pros

Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Very low stress work environment. All consoles and equipment are kept in good shape. Chairs are comfortable.

      Cons

Pay is quite low, opportunities for upward movement are near zero (since everyone is battling for the same few positions as they open), and learning new tools and skills is not prioritized. Management tends to treat testers as simply bodies to be thrown at a problem, not people; changes to the work environment are made without input from the workers whose lives are affected. Hours are not great for most people (must choose...

      Advice to Management

To WB Management: roll back the 6:30am/3pm shifts. The flex time, while perhaps not the most efficient from a management perspective, made a job with very low pay and few growth opportunities much more palatable. The flexibility it offered was fantastic for freelancers, musicians, and other non-traditional workers who had a life outside the office. The new schedule has made having a healthy home life difficult for myself...

Former Employee - German Linguistic Tester in Montreal, QC

      I worked at Enzyme

      Pros

The work is fun because you get to work on some great games and the other testers are all gamers which is also cool.

      Cons

However the work is repetitive and the planning is lacking. Sometimes we just get in and builds are not ready so we stand around for one hour before starting. Not a lot of room for advancement and the work is in cycles.

      Advice to Management

Plan better, improve your mamanagement processes and do a better job at communicating with employees

      Negative Outlook

I worked at Enzyme full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Nothing positive to say. Not sure how can they still be in business. Only makes sense to work there for newcomers to gain some first experience. The management treats employees like slaves. Would highly recommend against working there unless there are absolutely no other options.

      Cons

The worst is that management treats employees inhumanely.
