I have been working at Epsilon Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Constant work , and paid time off

    Cons

Management is horrible. People leave early daily and charge full time hours. Foreman don’t help with production at all, and know very little of the progress being made, project managers have favorite crews which they favor and let leave early or give them easy work, the rest are screwed, Mandatory overtime when management doesn’t make the right calls. Very unfriendly environment don’t recommend.

    Advice to Management

The point of a Foreman is to supply the people with the tools/resources they need to complete the job on time, they don’t do that, just because you are a foreman doesn’t mean you don’t have to do anything ,
Project managers are there to oversee the job and to keep the foreman on track with their current jobs and they need to treat everyone equally and quit benefiting your friends

I worked at Epsilon Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible with school, Understanding management

    Cons

Volatile hours, Division between labor and management, disconnect between projects and the office, poor planning, short manning constantly.

You will be worked into the ground to meet deadlines missed because of not appropriating manpower in order to meet the company's fiscal goals; then, you will be told to stay home for weeks at a time. The nature of the business doesn't make a stable, growth-friendly environment for someone seeking a long term career.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the individuals that keep the projects running smoothly and not just the ones you're friends with. Actually visit job sites and see who is doing the work. Stop punishing non-adherence to policy and then not follow it yourself.
