Pros

Free goodie back during the holidays that include a pair of and lip balm.

Cons

No structured mentorship program, and career growth conversations only happen if you push for them yourself. Priorities shift constantly, making it hard to feel like sustained effort translates into progress. Burnout culture is only getting worse, and recognition is essentially nonexistent, big deliverables get done and it's straight on to the next, bigger one with no acknowledgment. Compensation hasn't kept pace either, with minimal raises for years while benefits keep getting cut.

Pros

EverTrue has a talented team, strong mission, and serves customers who genuinely care about making a difference. The company has built a unique combination of donor intelligence, engagement, and fundraising technology through both innovation and acquisitions. There are opportunities to work with leading nonprofits, universities, and healthcare organizations while tackling meaningful challenges. Employees are encouraged to think creatively, take ownership, and contribute ideas regardless of title.

Cons

The company has undergone significant change in recent years, including acquisitions, leadership transitions, and platform consolidation efforts. As with many private equity-backed software companies, priorities can shift quickly and teams are expected to adapt. Integrating multiple products, systems, and cultures while maintaining growth creates complexity and can occasionally lead to unclear priorities or organizational growing pains.
