Pros

Great co-workers that I learned so much from.

Cons

The most unhealthy & narcissistic managers that I've ever encountered. They did nothing about workplace bullying, and were actually bullies themselves.

Understandably, there can always be negative feedback. However, the new Co-CEO of Evergreen is a woman, one of our two Branch Manager's is a woman, both are owners and principals. Not to mention the number of Field Services, Professional Engineers, Designers and Drafters that are on staff that are also women in all levels of experience and seniority. Evergreen is a very empowering company and looks at applicants and employees skills, experience and the individuals desire for their own success, no matter the persons background. We emphasize diversity and equality by making our decisions based on the best experience for the positions.

Pros

I've been with the company for almost 23 years. I enjoy our varied jobs and clients, highly inclusive atmosphere, many training and growth opportunities and the feeling of job security. Our culture is great and the opportunities for employee engagement are constantly improving. A flexible hybrid, work from home or in office schedule is very appreciated. This is a positive work environment. Going to work isn't so hard when you work at a place like Evergreen.

Cons

Communication between offices can be difficult

We do have three office locations in different time zones and have only been utilizing teams for the past few years. We welcome any suggestions that would help the internal communications amongst the offices for successful project execution. Where are we seeing the breakdowns? How are they impacting you or the team? What's the turn around time for responses?

Pros

Welcoming professional environment, offers flexible schedules with work from home options. Provide a work life balance. Emphasizes 40 hour weeks so there is no burn out. Recently had a change in CEO's and new principals who are engaged with their employees and making strides in the competitive market for benefits and wages. Really care about their employees engagement and their personal time is why their working.

Cons

No real negatives, duck vs beavers battles begin every September. :)
