I worked at Exopack (More than a year)

    Pros

Driven to excel always making sure we had goals with rewards. Decent network of manufacturing facilities. Some advancement available if you were willing to relocate.

    Cons

Questionable choices for top management. Bringing someone in with the intent of replacing supervisors so they can pay the replacements less broke their own ethics contract that managers had to sign.

    Advice to Management

Stay in contact with all employees and do not take the word of one individual. Especially if they are making career choices for a few employees.

I worked at Exopack full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company made millions of heavy plastic bags each year and loved working with the operators to make sure the products were in good shape!!

    Cons

Exopack had a practice of letting people go without reasonable causes! The Facility Manager that hired me in February, 2012 was let go in May, 2012. They then brought in a new Facility Manager that was a horrible human - screamed at everyone there and let several people go very quickly.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect to help them do the best job they can! Help the operators understand what the best products are when produced. Notify operators of customers issues with the products produced.

I worked at Exopack full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Could be a great company if they cared about the employees.

    Cons

They don't care about the employees, nothing is fair. It's all about whether or not you "fit in" to their click, more than whether you do a quality job or not.

    Advice to Management

    Start caring about the employees!

I worked at Exopack full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Better than not having a job, just barely

    Cons

Management knee- jerk reaction to every issue keeps everyone off balance. No security what so ever. Within six months CEO,COO, CFO, CIO quit or fire. Absolutely no work life balance, constant demands from upper management that make no sense, constant reorganization. TOXIC

    Advice to Management

Get some counseling. Look to yourself before you blame your employees, especially at the very top.
