I have been working at Expro full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not the worst company to work for (*cough* schl) but the experience also varies greatly by product line. They do have some great people working for them in operations and management.

    Cons

They try very hard to be like some of the larger companies including cutting as much as they can and not really caring for the employees beyond the required steps.

I worked at Expro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fun job, Got to use explosives and drive all over the US, the lower level workers were great guys trying to provide for their families.

    Cons

Pay was terrible, never was paid overtime even though some shifts would stretch out to 35 hours or longer.

    Advice to Management

Quit under paying the men and treating them as if they dont matter. Quit sacrificing lower worker safety for owner profits.

    Pros

Excellent benefits package. They match dollar for dollar up to 4% on 401k and vesting is from day 1 of employment.

    Cons

Too bureaucratic; marketing process lagging far behind local needs. Decisions made in UK instead of Houston.

    Advice to Management

Bring more autonomy to local sales and operations. Schlumberger like management philosophy. Probably because many ex-Schlumberger involved??
