    Pros

    FEMSA is a great place to foster new employees. You are constantly learning new things and it is a very demanding environment, which is great to forge experience.

    Cons

    It is a very demanding environment, sometimes it is difficult to manage work-life balance.

    You have to improve work-life balance for your employees

    I have been working at FEMSA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    FEMSA is a very noble company that really cares about its employees. It has fantastic benefits for you and your family. FEMSA is also a solid company with amazing values that are truly lived inside and outside its fences. Another great thing is its presence in different countries. You usually get to work with people from all over Latin America.

    Cons

    It is very traditional and sometimes slow in making changes. It is very hierarchical so moving up the ladder can be hard. Most people are expected to be workaholics.

    Advice to Management

    Make an effort in being more flexible and bringing more opportunities for collaboration for people working within the organization.

    The company is growing quickly, both organically and through acquisitions in Mexico, Central and South America.

    Cons

    Lot of office politics, fighting for power, promotions based on friendship with HR, people play dirty to pull other people down instead of everybody working towards the same company objectives.
