Pros

very busy, lot to learn Good for designers to make their portfolio

Cons

No work life balance - they expect their employees to work during weekends Lot of politics Very competitive, no collaboration - It's a rat's race. Its a sinking ship, they are financially not doing well. They had massive pay cut for 4months when i had just started and i dint knew until i started.

We appreciate the feedback, and it’s unfortunate that you didn’t enjoy your brief time at Farm. Farm is proud of its culture, and we’ve always actively promoted a healthy work/life balance for our staff that includes flexible hours and the ability to work from home. We rarely ask our employees to work on weekends, but teams may elect to do so when and if necessary to meet the needs of our clients. Farm’s ability to recruit, retain and grow award-winning talent is the foundation of our success. We’ve been in business for over 40 years and have been fortunate to weather brief periods of economic decline and uncertainty precisely because we care so much about our people. We regret that you were unable to discuss your frustrations during your employment, but nonetheless we wish you all the best! Sharon LaBella HR Manager

Pros

The quality of the people.

Cons

We've had a few quiet years of autonomy after an acquisition by Flextronics. Bit by bit they are taking over (as excepted and fair enough) but it is not happy times. If you imagine working for a Human-Factors, Design or Engineering company: STOP! This is a 200k person brutal manufacturing machine (that happens to be not doing so well). The business outlook does not look good.

Thank you for providing your feedback. Since Farm joining Flex in 2015, we have gradually integrated our processes with Flex in an effort to improve our operational efficiencies and business practices. These changes can be challenging at times and we continue to make every effort to ensure that these changes are positive for our business and employees at Farm. We believe the amazing and creative work that we do day-to-day remains the same as before Farm was acquired and we continue to place a strong emphasis on our unique culture and work-life-balance. For over four decades, Farm employees have appreciated the transparency that management provides and leadership is committed to working together with our employees to make Farm a great place to work. We welcome the opportunity to address your concerns and our management doors are always open as they always have been. Darrin Manke Farm GM
