I have been working at First Fidelity Bank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free soda, they give you a T-shirt

    Cons

Location, open work environment, old dated cubes. So worried if overtime is worked yet they don’t want to work with you on leaving early to avoid it.

    Advice to Management

Employees need privacy, quiet in order to do their jobs efficiently.

I worked at First Fidelity Bank part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They were flexible with part timers.

    Cons

They eliminated all the part timers

    Advice to Management

    Your new programs won't work.

I worked at First Fidelity Bank part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good employee interest rate and decent benefits but the premiums are extremely pricey.

    Cons

They've eliminated part-time positions, so a huge crop of people trying to go to school had to either quit or be let go because of it. You are just a number, and only a number. You're treated less than your customers, even if you are a customer. HR is a dreaded beast that no one wants to deal with and will literally do anything in their power to avoid. Most management either has no clue what they're doing or will throw you under the bus to protect themselves.

    Advice to Management

Get it together. Your teams are depending on you. Treat them like people and not pawns.

I worked at First Fidelity Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work life balance and lots of opportunities to advance for a slight raise. No incentive sales goals. No competition. Birthdays and anniversary dates are celebrated

    Cons

Lack of pay and reward, no training, lack of knowledge on how bank products work, no retail support on processes.

    Advice to Management

In order to attract & retain new talent and customers, you will need to pay more toward technology and cash rewards. You should pay equally between the sexes. Several women work hard, do better, and are higher educated and you pay them significantly less.

I worked at First Fidelity Bank full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Decent pay
    Bank holidays
They would let you out for bad weather/tornadoes. (other banks I have worked for didnt care if you were not safe getting home)

    Cons

Some of the girls working there were very clickish and snobby if you werent one of the "cool kids"
Management played favorites - some people would get in trouble for things and others would do the same things and not even get a second look
Cubicles with very short walls so no privacy

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites. Treat everyone the same!

I have been working at First Fidelity Bank full-time

    Pros

Goals are a joke so it’s easy to work here. Lower level employees are great. Not sure much more than that on pros.

    Cons

They don’t care about you at all. You’re “replaceable no matter who you are” the upper management all the way up to Lee & Suzie don’t care about their people. Always wanting to hire external. HR is more like the principals office. Everyone is terrified of them and expects no help.

    Advice to Management

Actually care about your people more instead of feeding them BS when they first get hired and through a couple emails throughout the year. Show it, don’t say it.
