I worked at Firstrust Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I was a teller here for 5 years. They were a very generous employer. The training and benefits were great. It really felt like a big, happy family to work here. Even when the job was stressful (and it was), there was still that sense that everyone looked out for each other as long as you were an honest, hard-working employee. I was very lucky that they encouraged me to pursue a degree, and the Branch Manager was very accommodating with my schedule. I miss working here - work was rewarding, and I loved the connections I built with customers and co-workers.

    Cons

The nature of the job was at times stressful based on timing customer traffic.

    Pros

Co workers were great. Miss them and glad some became great friends. Glad they moved to new building the last one was nasty.

    Cons

No con. Really enjoyed working there. I would still be there if another awesome opportunity didnt come up. My growth was more important to me.

    Advice to Management

    Higher within

    Pros

Employees have worked for the Bank for many years and built long lasting friendships.

    Cons

Pay sucks & bonuses are UNFAIRLY ALLOCATED by management for all the work branch employees are expected to do. Vacation & Sick(now called FLEX) time must be picked for the ENTIRE year in January(how can you plan sick days in advance???) Secret Shopper program is a BIG JOKE

    Advice to Management

The Branch office team, they matter and the management team in the branches are not always right, allow Secret Anonymous feedback boxes in your branches and you will be surprised by the feedback.
