Pros

Working at Flexlink was a great way to gain experience as an engineer. I was exposed to just about every part of the design and assembly process while working there. Also, if you like working on new projects regularly, this is the place for you. I found the rapid project turnover refreshing.

Cons

You will not do to much theoretical work while you are there. If you want to work doing wind tunnel tests and stress strain calculations then Flexlink is not for you. Also the Allentown branch is connected to Flexlink Sweden, who's motives are not necessarily in the best interests of Flexlink US. People sometimes move up the ranks even though they make decisions that hurt Flexlink US because they help Flexlink Sweden

Pros

Great product. Really good hard working folks.

Cons

FlexLink is part of a large $1B + year holding company; Coesia which is privately owned by a single individual. All profits from all of the companies under Coesia go to support this persons philanthropy efforts. Sounds great however when business slows down FlexLink upper management has a pattern of eliminating positions to save money. Shouldn't charity start at home (work) with the hard working folks at the company?

Pros

The company is fine for beginners, but it’s not a place where you can grow.

Cons

Don’t expect to grow with this company. They don’t value education or professional development, and many employees end up doing labor‑heavy work instead of real engineering. Management lacks diversity, and several leaders have no formal education or technical background. I stayed longer than I should have, even though I had better opportunities available. Don’t be afraid to change jobs when you realize you’re not learning or growing. Some managers contribute very little, take credit for your work, and simply exist in the background without adding value.
