Pros

While the technology is the coolest thing to work with, the team is what makes working for this company an extraordinary experience. We literally change people's lives for the better by making their jobs safer, and we have a great time working together doing so. The work is fascinating and happens in the office but also in the field on industrial sites across the country.

Cons

Not much to say here.

Great Product, Dysfunctional Marketing Department

Pros

- Product (drone made for inspections in confined spaces) is the best on the market. - Work can be engaging and interesting given that the drone is used in several different industries. - Company recently completed a successful Series C and is on a solid growth trajectory.

Cons

- Department is generally disorganized and dysfunctional, with no sense of shared vision or unifying team feeling. This leads to low morale across the department and the feeling that management doesn't care about employees or want/know how to support them. - Despite claims that a horizontal management philosophy called Holocracy is used, all decisions are made top-down with no space for input from department members. The contrast between the claim of inclusion and the reality makes for a feeling of having no agency for department members, and contributes to low morale. - Rather than supporting struggling department members, management in the department has often blamed specific personnel on poor performance to avoid accountability, without offering support to the person/people blamed or doing anything positive to improve the work being done.

We are sorry to read your frustration on the management structure and the lack of support you are experiencing. Our HR and the top management is available to help you solve those issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! We are deploying a new structure for the marketing department since December 2022, so while it will require a few adjustments for everyone, we should be seeing a lot of new positive changes throughout the year.

Pros

Business is doing great with very high growth and a lot of exciting projects on the roadmap. Passionate co-workers that became mostly friends. Company is well-funded and develops very unique products hand-in-hand with customers, giving opportunities to visit customer sites across the world and in crazy places (a glacier in Greenland, the Chernobyl power plant, one of the world's deepest underground mine, etc.) The office in Lausanne is gorgeous.

Cons

A lot of personal involvement is needed; quite an emotional rollercoaster. The company is in a transition between the fun but scrappy times of an early-stage company to a mature and well-organized business. Not fully there on all fronts yet :-) !
