Pretty standard for a law firm

Pros

Salary, cafeteria on-site, location (Seaport), nice attorneys, benefits (health/dental) are decent, transportation deducted from paychecks pre-tax.

Cons

Bonuses for admin staff are pretty low, little to no flexibility in terms of schedule, no opportunity for work from home. No casual dress down days (i.e. Casual Fridays). Rules are not applied fairly to all. So-so PTO policy. Doesn't feel like management is open to development for admins outside of what the firm offers for free; Non-centralized billing/finance dept which creates unnecessary delays and extra work.

Pros

Foley used to be a good place to work but with the recent changes in IP Department management it no longer is.

Cons

Discriminatory practices while hiding behind mandatory, phony "unconscious bias training", big joke

Pros

there is a barista bar in Boston

Cons

IT continues to have roles that could be fully remote, but they only allow two days a week. At same time other departments do allow and actively hire fully remote for staff such as secretaries and billing admin. The 12-8 shift was also fully remote but now advertised as hybrid.
