Grew too big, too fast, can't cope

Pros

A small core of truly talented and creative people in all departments. Hard working, smart people. Loads of potential still there.

Cons

Outside of that core, talent pool gets super thin. Core group is stretched out over too much work, often way underbid. Jobs are being bungled by these second tier workers. Production Management now seems to be run by spreadsheet instead of reason. Good employees take the brunt of penny-wise, pound foolish decisions, while the second tier seems to be fine. Expensive executive hires, presumably brought in to get better jobs are draining finances while not performing.

Pros

- You can be remote, depending on your role. - Some employees are cool. - Work/Life balance for myself was better than at most jobs.

Cons

- Benefits cost about $300+ a month. - Within SIX weeks everyone I interviewed with left the company. EVERY SINGLE PERSON. The company has a crazy turnover rate. - Management will praise you for your accomplishments and then throw you under the bus. Especially if you’re an ex-employee. - Management won't have your back. Even when they know you're right, they'll all be untruthful anyway. - Upper management won't have your back, they will join management and dictate everything but the truth. Even when they know the opposite of what they're saying is the truth. - HR won't help, that's why they work for Fuse and not you. They too won't have your back and won't hold Fuse accountable. HR is actually horrible and it’s ran by a tyrant who can’t control their emotions when they’re (wrongness) is challenged. - They'll fire you once you hold them accountable and call them out on the truth, forcing them to stand on the truth. They will even throw prior employees under the bus, if it means sticking to not telling the truth and trying to "bully" employees. Even if they can't tell you what you "did wrong". You'll also more than likely be underpaid and overworked. You can give it a try, but keep in mind -- you have been warned. Keep a lawyer on speed dial if you decide to employ here. Again, you've been warned. Dog eat dog culture, so if you have to starve for management to eat, they will push you out. Even if you've did nothing wrong.

FuseFX does not condone bullying of any kind, nor does it support the culture outlined by this review. At every turn we work to support and help our employees. We do not support behavior that does not meet our standards and core values. We indeed hold those accountable for their wrongdoings which is in part why we might be receiving this review. We are sorry our culture was not a fit for you and wish you the best in your future.

Pros

Good people still work there. Opportunities for growth.

Cons

Lots of really good people have left within the last 3 months. Becoming far to corporate. People promoted far too fast to higher level positions without proper vetting. Do not cover health care. Only offer bare minimum of compensation to offset. Resource management and artist allocations are poorly handled.
