Pros

Nothing I can think of besides working from home and having good free time, considering the bar is not very high.

Cons

In my experience, the company culture feels more like a small family-run or close-knit business than a scalable organization. Decision-making often seems reactive, and there appears to be limited long-term planning. I also feel there is a lack of transparency and trust across teams, along with unnecessary politics for such a small team. Leadership at times seems unprepared for the challenges of scaling the business.

Pros

Remote company with meetups every few years

Cons

Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re genuinely desperate. There are some great people at Gatekeeper but it’s a mess. Leadership’s priorities constantly shift, there’s constant turnover of senior leaders that each restructure everything from top to bottom as soon as they join the org, and they never commit to a clear focus for more than a few weeks at a time. Burnou's a massive problem here. Sadly, there’s a strong lack of trust from the top. Senior leadership trusts only a small inner circle, and if you’re not in it, you’re basically going to be justifying your existence on a daily basis. Your calendar and activity WILL be monitored because managers don’t trust that people are doing their jobs, even though everyone’s snowed under. Employees are pushed to be “obsessed with AI” but the reality is that AI adoption at this company has drastically increased everyone’s workload, and people are exhausted. If you're considering a job here, just note that they're reducing staff numbers and simultaneously increasing their revenue goals. Again, there are very good people here, but the culture makes it hard to thrive. I wouldn’t recommend working here without significant change

Pros

Remote work, great colleagues, teem meet ups that happen every 2 years

Cons

You are expected to learn everything on your own, with no structured knowledge sharing. People figure things out individually, and you are often left to piece things together without guidance. Everyone is too busy to consult, so keeping up with the product and AI becomes a constant struggle. There is little to no training, no sense of belonging, and no real exchange of knowledge—just fragmented teams working in isolation. In addition, many experienced people who deeply understood the product and had been with the company for years have been let go, and replaced with less experienced hires who need significant time to understand the platform. This creates further gaps in expertise. The platform itself is complex, built more on programmer logic than user logic, which makes onboarding and day-to-day understanding even more difficult without proper support or knowledge transfer.
