Pros
Working for Giles Flythe Engineers is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. You know you work for a good company when you're always trying to work harder to keep up with how well they treat you. For example, within reason, we get to set our own schedules, choose what work we want to do, etc. From day 1 it was clearly communicated that the most important part of working here was the company culture; great (honest, generous, humble) people trusted to make great decisions. And it has been a fun group of really smart people that are all willing to help and serve our client base and each other as best they can.
Cons
With an extremely hands off company that believes in as few meetings as possible and maximizing billable hours, can come a lack of structured learning/growth for the employees; though the recent implementation of an engineering education program is definitely a step in the right direction and has been successful.
