      Good benefits, central location, great mission.

      Cons

      Lots of dead wood in the staff and lack of motivation. CEO is childish and mean spirited, hard to work with and needs to retire.

      Pros

      All of my colleagues are the best I have ever worked with in their fields; from architects to engineers to urban planners and much more, we work as a collaborative team, no competition. Supervisors do not micromanage and strive to value everyone's strengths and individuality. Pay is decent. Holidays and vacation days are very fair.

      Cons

      Too many meetings - even though that has improved in the last few years Overloaded with work nearing end of year No annual bonus - but that is typical when working in government
