Pros

New executive team is enthusiastic about future opportunities as the company creates additional offerings.

Cons

SDRs are full-time company employees on paper. In practice, time and pay is tracked to the minute and more consistent with a project-based model. Highly departmentalized. Cross-functional communication is discouraged. Inside sales professionals are hired for their experience then given detailed scripts and told not to deviate.

We are sorry you found the work "suffocating." Sales Development work can be challenging but also rewarding for those that enjoy the interaction with prospects and the challenge of mastering effective sales methodologies. It is the IRS that dictates this role to be hourly and thus time reporting is also an IRS requirement. However, we do offer paid vacation and paid holidays. For the reader, we do not find "reading scripts" to be an effective sales methodology and thus we do not promote that approach. We practice a number of sales methodologies that we do find to be effective and work very hard to develop mastery of those skills in all of our reps. We are happy to discuss all of this in more detail with prospective employees.

Pros

- remote work - equipment is provided

Cons

- micromanaging - scripts to follow - very clique oriented and not welcoming of younger employees, women, or minorities - they will change pay and commission without proper notice.

We do measure key sales metrics daily, which some see as micro managing. But anyone that understands sales development knows it is the key to success. We don't believe in scripts, but we do development talk tracks and suggested questions based on number of selling methodologies we practice. We proudly have a very diverse workforce, representing all age ranges (20’s to 70’s) approximately 1/3 are women and 1/3 are minorities. We have implemented one overall of our compensation program in 4 years which resulted in a 19% increase in earnings for our sales team, although it does favor top performers. But it sales after all.

Pros

Has the feel of a start-up. People all seem generally good intended and they are working very hard to grow and do the right things.

Cons

It is early in the company's evolution, which can be a lot of fun if you if it fits with your wants and personality.
