    Pros

    I worked for Susan, one of the most well respected women in the industry. Ive learned so much about the industry working under her leadership. This is one of the best jobs i've ever had and Guerlains products are absolutely beautiful. The luxury price point was intimidating at 1st but once you learn the magic behind it... you will fall absolutely in love with the history and the innovative culture. They are secretly a step ahead of the world in product development!! Everything they make gets stolen by other companies. You'll be lucky to get trained by Becky!

    Make your presence stronger in Sephoras!!

    An exceptional luxury company with high standards and specialty products. Presentation is everything to this Parisian based company and I have always been pleased to be an employee.

    Pros

    Get gratis and products from the company to use. Fun and very interactive. Great people and very talented people to work with!

    Cons

    Very busy and a lot of work. Have to stand a lot and can also be on call to work.

    Pros

    You meet great customers. I did like the ski care line, and had nice fragrance.

    Cons

    Store was very slow with high goals they no one could meet except manager. She lowered her goal. Only closed on Tuesday. No holidays. She never trained, but wanted the best.they cheat on taxes. Example. They put fake name in system, so when Asians spend $800 they charge no tax and ship for free, and give them testers $300 and up.

    Advice to Management

    Hire someone that understands what a manager is.

    Beautiful products, luxury brand, good insurance.

    Cons

    Micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, employee morale, lack of managerial support.

    Advice to Management

    When you hire a qualified person to do a job, let them. Stop killing their creativity, self esteem and drive. Discuss goals with them, don't just throw them a number and say you have to make it with no additional support.

    Pros

    Wonderful products, great history. Good benefits.

    Cons

    Upper level management changes policies on a whim, and to fit their personal advantages. No consistency in the treatment of employees. Would rather bring someone in with virtually no experience rather than promote from within. The company doesn't protect the rights of its workers, only its vested interest in management. No direct lines of communication to upper management without reprimanding. Sales goals can be unrealistic and overwhelming. Pressure to achieve goals from every angle. Never anything positive to say, only negative.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees more, and allow them safe communication channels to upper management. Understand that the employees that are passionate are your best assets. Treat them like you actually care about them, not just their sales.

    Pros

    Open space concept, free products, possibility of attending nice events, small team and very accessible.

    Cons

    The pay is very low, this company is known to underpay its employee and this at any level (interns to managers). I think the company thinks too much about cutting expenses out and does not invest in its employee.

    Advice to Management

    More organization and fairness would make this company an amazing one to work for.
