      Pros

A group of individual specialists working toward a common goal. As such, everyone brings a unique professional perspective to virtually any scenario. People in this company want to succeed. They want to make the company look good. They want themselves to look good. People here push themselves during difficult periods and work to give the best of themselves. All contribute ideas for the betterment of the company. Management is mostly hands off so micromanagement isn't as much an issue as other companies.

      Cons

Ego, ego and more ego. There are a lot of people here who are so full of themselves, they sometimes act as if the ideas they come up with were sent from the heavens themselves. Some of them have personalities that become borderline caustic when their ideas are questioned. Some end up using the "it's my way or you're stupid" method of getting what they want. Some use conjecture, hearsay and fear based assumptions of previous events as fact. Somtimes the views of the specialists in their field are opposed by others with no experience who may "just not get it" or others with just enough experience to think they're right and so, progress is often slowed if not stopped altogether. Ignorance and hubris combine to stop potentially profitable or helpful projects from moving forward because they're not mainstream enough or resemble previous experiences too closely for some to feel safe. The unending compromises and desire to make everyone happy leads projects to dead ends and final products are sometimes milqeutoast as a result. There are some who talk of teamwork, but only practice it when everyone plays by their rules. Some come up with ideas based on unresearched or untested assumptions and treat those ideas as sure winners. When evidence is presented in opposition to that treatment, the zealousness with which they adhere to their treatment increases. Overall, I fear ego will be this company's undoing.

I've completed an initial phone screening interview, followed by a 2-hour interview with the Department VP. Next in the process are three separate 90-minute peer interviews. Is there a possibility of another interview after the peer interviews, or should I anticipate receiving an offer?
