    Pros

The founder is reason enough to enjoy working at HA. He is brilliant and passionate about his work, and yet can explain technical matters in layman's terms.

    Cons

The location wasn't my cup of tea. I'm a city gal, and Columbia, MD is a suburb. There are some places for lunch and coffee somewhat near by, but not very close by.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you do best; it's difficult to imagine anyone doing it better. And kudos on making the office fun.

  2. "Poorly run company"

I worked at Health Analytics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The work is interesting and valuable in the clinical research industry.

    Cons

The company is not structured well. There is poor leadership, unclear company direction and unfortunately, the environment where people are working is sub-par. Not a positive environment and not geared towards building employee skills. Just get the work done and stay quiet establishment.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees. Develop a process to have all employees contribute to the success and future direction. As customer interaction is important, so should the employee-to-employee relationships. While they weren't disgruntled, the poor leadership from the top created a disconnect and cloud of negativity. Growing a company requires communication on all fronts and with a company as small (<10ppl), there should be an amazing culture, communication not driven by emotions/moods and people willing to help staff contribute their natural skills.

I worked at Health Analytics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The purpose of the company is outstanding and needed.

    Cons

CEO is very knowledgeable. However his values are in the wrong place. There is no respect for employees or clients. Do not expect any loyalty from current Management. Be careful on expressing your opinion, it may put you out of a job. If you don't mind being thrown under the bus due to CEO deception, this is the place for you.
