    Pros

Located in Colorado, other employees are generally nice, VPs are knowledgeable, office is clean, great IT department, conference reimbursement benefit

    Cons

Poor communication, poor health benefits, failing industry, no new business development, eliminated marketing department, financial issues, said in great cash position at beginning of year and then couldn't make budget by years end.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire anyone unless you know you need them. Hiring and then laying off every few years is not an efficient way to run a company.

I worked at Health Inventures full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

HI gives employees a lot of responsibility and really pushes employees to grow and learn on the job to meet the challenges of project-based work.

    Cons

Compensation was below average. There were also an inordinate number of vice-presidents relative to the total number of employees in the company.

    Advice to Management

Limit the number of VPs based on the ratio to non-VP employees.

I worked at Health Inventures full-time

    Pros

The company is in a neat part of the industry and would have great potential if it weren't horribly managed it is by senior leadership.

    Cons

This has to be the worst company I have ever experienced. It is quite stunning how leadership turns a blind eye to how it is being managed into the ground. The company claims to be able to manage ASC's but can not even manage itself. The level of turnover is astronomical coming from the tremendous dysfunction of the organization. There is a true fight between old guard and new guard and no one wins. What a sad excuse for a company. If you are considering this company - look elsewhere. No one deserves to be a part of this kind of dysfunction.

    Advice to Management

Advice to the Board - get rid of your leadership team because they are inept. Care about this company - you have a really strong concept but it has to managed more effectively. Your equity owners are the biggest problem. They have no clue what they are doing.
