Pros

HRS has seen really fast growth over the last 5 years and they are making a big difference in healthcare. Real process didn't come to the operations until ~24 months ago. For a lot of employees, it has been a painful transition from a world of freedom and just doing things the way they want, to having to operate within the bounds of process, security, and standards. HRS is just like many companies that hire young people whose overinflated titles put them in a tough position as the company really grows. Now processes require them to deliver on their inflated title. Some people leave the organization really disgruntled when held to those standards. The reality of it is that the organization has simply asked people to perform and held them to standards they didn't once have and now the people from 2 - 3 years ago are frustrated and kicking and screaming when they realize they're in the real world. The leadership team has improved a lot with several new hires including a new CEO and the removal of executives and leaders who were not effective in their roles. There has been a noticeable improvement in many areas and even though people are fast to jump on Glassdoor to write about their terrible experiences with leadership, the truth is the company is heading in a very good direction in a highly-competitive market. It's not easy winning KLAS 3 times and having hundreds of really amazing clients. The real difference internally is that the people who have seen amazing companies built accept change because they know it's needed. The people who come here to scream and degrade the company, likely are the same people who refused to accept change and were coached out. HRS is filled with very caring and passionate people across many teams. There are some really amazing people and it's all about patients and clients.

Cons

Comp could be higher on some teams and it's often a pretty tough process to get raises. No off-cycle promotions. The product has had issues, but new releases are going to allow for a much better experience.

Not What I Expected

Pros

This company is still young and leadership is open to ideas to make positive changes. (Can be a con due to competing priorities.) The support team is full of bright people committed to helping patients and nurses alike. There seems to be high room for growth for the right people.

Cons

Please note that this is my perspective from tech support: Lack of diversity in leadership. Little to no work-life balance for the support team. Please ask them to elaborate on their weekend and overnight shift schedule thoroughly when you're interviewing. You are often expected to work late hours. There is very little communication between tech support and development. HRS has had major growth this past year and they seem to be learning as they go. New systems have to be put in place for communication across departments, training, and scheduling, or else you can expect a high burnout and turnover rate. HR is a MESS. They do not know how to communicate effectively, show no empathy for big issues, and handled my pay in an unprofessional manner.
