Pros

None, they completely fabricated the job posting to lure in candidates. Teasing potential applicants with “Work from Home” opportunities and advertising salaries they have no intention to actually offer the candidate. Culture/management is utterly toxic.

Cons

Micro managing. Owner constantly talks down to employees. Doesn’t believe Covid is real. Flew to Disney during height of Covid rise in November and basically told employees to suck it up if you didn’t like it or felt like your safety/health was compromised. They refused to quarantine after and suggested we “wear a mask” if we were concerned. They are horrible.

I am sorry you feel this way. We absolutely keep our word when it comes to our employees. All of our job postings are real. I am not sure where the comment of teasing with salaries that we will never pay and the work from home opportunities comes from. Our salaries for our account managers are very competitive with a better than industry average benefit package. All of our job postings are for in office employment. We have work from home capabilities for certain situations, like during covid or for when the office closes for weather events, but we are not for hiring straight work from home positions at this time And to address the issue of Covid, we did take it serioulsy. We did take a family vacation to Disney, but abided by every Covid protocol. And with the protocols that Disney was enforcing at that time, we were probably safer there than in our local grocery store. After returning, we did isolate ourselves within the office and held all of our meetings via teams instead of in the conference room for 2 weks. No one in our family who took the trip contracted covid. As far as your advice for the owners, it appears very unprofessional and we strive to run a professional organization and have been doing so since the business began in 1960.

Thank you for your feedback. Based on this type of feedback, we have made it a priority to focus on our agency culture and continue to make improvements. We still are very passionate about our business and industry. We continue to be one of the rare family owned and operated local insurance agencies focusing on supporting and protectiung our community.

Pros

Fridays in the summer they cook out so free lunch is always nice.

Cons

The owner would yell & scream on a daily basis. Way too many meetings without any real purpose & expectations to attend events after work & on the weekends without additional compensation. No chance for advancement. The owners/management ridicule you for making any suggestions or for asking any questions. No family/work balance, its expected that you work through lunch, come in early & stay late to keep up with the workload.
