Management is losing it.
Literally.
They have lost touch with the realities of the day to day operations on the floor, they seriously upsetting their hardest workers by constantly making the workplace more and more like a prison work camp where the floor supervisors end up acting more like police and the guys running the machines are treated like dirt.
Many machines leak coolant and hydraulic fluid constantly.
The lighting is poor making it difficult to even see what you are working on.
The Maintenance crew seems indifferent and will only do work on a machine if it "fits into" the other things they are doing.
Several members of the "Quality Assurance Team" seem to be more interested in their side jobs or their latest fishing, hunting, or "toy buying" experience and it is usually left to other production team members to make sure newer employees can properly read some of our most basic gaging.
Management constantly expects more and more from people who are already giving everything but their dying breaths for the company.
