Pros

Good for Beginners. Work from home/anywhere. Flexible to take vacation. Mon to Thurs 10hr and Firday-4hr.

Cons

End up being a coder always, no career growth even spending several years. You have to buy resources by your own. No reimbursement. Small service based company and survived on only one client. Low compensation, No profit sharing, no 401K and expensive family health insurance. As an employee cannot request or raise any concerns. I have seen many managers who either got fired or left company in short span because of few person's unbearable attitude. You are forced to write good review on Glassdoor, when your working with them.

Pros

The best place I have ever worked and I have worked at some world famous research institutes in the past. I3 is a family first company with well-designed development processes. We work with important customers daily doing meaningful deployments. And we work AT HOME. The family first focus is real, absolutely no questions are asked when it comes to family. For instance, if you have any kid event in the middle of the day, you need just to post your status and go.

Cons

You need to be disciplined to excel. You need to be always learning something new as the CEO is an honest-to-god genius and is always developing new frameworks, new processes and integrating the best new technology into current and future deployments. There is medical and support for buying personal computers but few other benefits other than getting paid a good salary for working in your pajamas!

You must be a self-starter and have drive to make a difference and be successful, which is not ideal for everybody.
