I have been working at Innography full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

friendly sales people. everyone wants to do well.

    Cons

call point can be really boring and weird. the market consists of a lot of ankle biters therefore decision makers are some of the best dodgers i've ever dealt with.

    Advice to Management

let go the bottom performers and reward the more capable sales people with the left over territory

I worked at Innography full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Compensation. Benefits. Market space is lucrative. Weekly happy hour and quarterly updates.

    Cons

"Organizations" act as their own company instead of together AS one company. Asking for help outside of your organization usually goes unanswered.

    Advice to Management

None, I think they know what they are doing but choose to turn a blind eye sometimes.

I worked at Innography full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great VP of Sales. Is a great mentor and teacher. Gives enough time to build pipeline before expecting too much.

    Cons

    - Unclear vision on how to grow the business outside U.S.
    - Business development team targeted on just getting calls rather than good & qualified calls.

    Advice to Management

Just tweak the BD element & decide on an international strategy & go all in.

    Pros

Innovative company. Leadership is good. People are friendly also.

    Cons

Annual raises based upon performance. This company doesn't currently make adjustments for inflation annually.

    Advice to Management

    More early business development activity.

I have been working at Innography full-time

    Pros

Innography is a venture backed company and is trying to balance the stresses of moving as fast as possible towards an exit with being a fun, caring place to grow. I think they do a great job of balancing this.

    Cons

Lots of change....can feel a bit like ground hog day

    Advice to Management

    Keep sharing and being transparent!

I have been working at Innography full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice place to work. Good folks focused on taking a market from a large incumbent company. Very customer / customer experience focused. Focused on working on what is important in the market place.

    Cons

Small company has it's share of empires and roadblocks. Not bad for the most part but politics is definitely present.

    Advice to Management

    Stay focused.

    I worked at Innography full-time

    Pros

Opportunities to talk directly with customers (not hidden away).
    Community volunteer opportunities.
Regular contact & feedback from management.

    Cons

Reviews are not supposed to be about salary & salary lags behind going market rate.
Opportunties for growth are limited & are more a formulaic & out of a management book rather than about the individual
Leaders / management are average to below average talent-wise.
Subject matter (patents) sounds cool from the outside, but the product is tailored around and sold mostly to bottom-feeding lawyers & businessmen who want to garner licensing fees (not the inventors).
London-based acquirer (CPA) is a pretty backwards organization.

I have been working at Innography full-time

    Pros

Management is pretty open and up front with very little politics
Lots of smart folks have the freedom to get stuff done
    Volunteer opportunities encouraged
Good work / life balance esp. for a startup (I think it's the works smarter not harder mentality)

    Cons

Comp & benefits are only average for the tech space
